Zwölferkogel circular trail
Walking time: 3 hours, Difficulty: easy
On the local heritage trail around the Zwölferkogel you will learn interesting facts about the development of Saalbach. Start at the middle station of the Zwölferkogel cable car. Ideally suited for families, take a detour to one of the beautiful reservoir ponds via route 8 before marching downhill along well-maintained forest roads to the Ellmaualm. The trail then continues to Hinterglemm via the Schwarzachergraben.
Schattberg High Circular Trail
Walking time: 4.5 hours, difficulty: medium
Start at the mountain station of the Schattberg Nord cable car, via the Marxenscharte to the Samersattel and the Saalbachkogel. Then continue via the Seetörl and return to Schattberg Ost via the Pinzgau walk.
